Community

We do more than just supply high-quality skips at affordable prices. We are a proud member of our local community. See some of the ways in which we give back.

Glynn’s in the community

Here at Glynns, we are not just a skip hire and waste management company. We always try to contribute to our community and we have a strong team which always wants to give back. As a team, we have worked on several projects together to help support our community. These are, supporting our local football team, helping Parkinson’s UK, helping a school become ‘greener’ and of course our support and a huge thank you to the NHS for all the hard work they have done for everyone. Find out more details about the individual projects below to see how Glynns contributes to its community.

About this project

With our Irish heritage we were happy to support our local Gaelic football team. For those of you that have never seen a gaelic football match, we recommend you check out there instagram (@neasdengaelsfc) or website (www.neasdengaels.com) for future matches. Congratulation's on their acheivements and the best of luck for the rest of the season.

About this project

Having a family member with parkinson's disease gives you an understanding of the numerous obstacles of a parkinson's disease sufferer. Parkinson's UK offers support in a multitude of ways, we hope that our small contribution will in some way assist with their on going work and their research into one day finding a cure.

About this project

Having been approached by one of the children at St Gregory's Science College Kenton to assist them in their quest to become 'greener'. We offered a bespoke paper bin. This has resulted in thousands of tons of waste paper being diverted from landfill and redirected to various re-use facilities. Our congratulation's to everyone in St Gregory's for such a successful project which has now been in place for over 10 years, heres to the next 10.

About this project

At the centre of all our communities is the NHS. In times when we desperately need them or in times when we thankfully don't, they have been there for all of us. We as a family and as a community have never been more aware of the great work our NHS does and the lengths they go to help us than now. We want to say thank you to our NHS for all the great work they do.
